Our scope focused on interior design, technical drawings, and FF&E—no execution—covering both the reception/concierge lounge and the adjacent restaurant. We delivered concept through detailed intent: space planning, reflected ceiling and lighting layouts, wall/floor finishes, millwork/shop-drawing packages, coordinated power/data points, and complete FF&E specifications (casegoods, seating, decorative lighting, rugs, art, and accessories). The palette combines natural stone, walnut-toned wood, and brushed brass with acoustic textiles to balance luxury and comfort across both zones.
We needed to humanize a tall, open lobby while preserving grandeur; maintain acoustic comfort in hard-finish areas during peak check-in and dining; and ensure the central sculpture remained iconic without obstructing egress or operations. In the restaurant, we had to create flexible seating typologies (two-tops, banquettes, private nooks) that support different day-parts while aligning back-of-house adjacencies and services within hotel constraints—all resolved at the design and documentation level for smooth handover to the execution team.
We applied layered zoning—sculpture plinth, lowered lighting canopies, and furniture islands—to scale the lobby, with subtle floor inlays guiding movement. Discreet acoustic measures (micro-perforated wood ceilings, fabric-backed brass screens, and area rugs) were detailed in our drawings and specifications. For the restaurant, we defined clear circulation and sightlines, diversified seating for capacity and privacy, and issued coordinated technical packages (RCPs, joinery details, finish schedules, and FF&E specs) to ensure code-compliant egress, service routes, and a coherent material story ready for contractor execution.
