Our scope covered full architecture, landscape, and interior design to craft a natural, enduring beach villa; planning prioritised view corridors, privacy layers, and seamless indoor–outdoor flow; a restrained palette—stone, textured plaster, timber accents, and glass—anchors the project in its shoreline context.
Challenges
The site faces extreme heat, high humidity, and saline air that accelerate wear; strong glare, wind, and drifting sand impact comfort and maintenance; direct beachfront exposure demands privacy without compromising the horizon views and a landscape that can thrive in sandy, salt-laden soil.
Solutions
We specified marine-grade, UV-stable materials (316 stainless, anodized aluminium, porcelain/sintered stone, treated hardwoods) with breathable finishes and corrosion-resistant fixings; deep overhangs, recessed terraces, brise-soleil and pergolas create shade and cross-ventilation, paired with low-E glazing, ERV/VRF dehumidification, and thermal mass for passive cooling; the landscape uses native, salt-tolerant planting, permeable paths, wind screens, and dune-friendly grading with greywater irrigation—delivering durability, comfort, and effortless beachfront luxury.
