Sand House is a project that merges the beauty of earthy tones with modern minimalism. The client desired a home that embodies the essence of nature, creating a tranquil environment that reflects natural landscapes. The design aimed to incorporate organic materials and a warm color palette to evoke a sense of serenity and connection to the earth.
Challenges
The challenge was to seamlessly integrate natural elements into a contemporary design without compromising on modern amenities and aesthetics. Ensuring that the use of earthy tones and materials did not result in a monotonous or dated appearance was also a key consideration.
Solutions
We selected a palette inspired by dessert, incorporating shades of sand and earth to create warmth. Natural materials such as stone and wood were used extensively to bring in organic textures. The design emphasized open spaces and large windows to allow natural light to enhance the earthy tones, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
