Our scope covered full interior design for the entire villa, from space planning to materials, lighting concepts, and bespoke joinery details. The experience begins at a grand entrance with a welcoming seating area, leading into a layered double-height living room that balances openness with intimacy. Multiple marble selections were orchestrated across key touchpoints—floors, feature walls, wet areas—to create continuity without repetition.
Harmonizing several marble types without visual noise required a strict hierarchy of finishes, veining directions, and edge details. Controlling acoustics, daylight, and human scale within the double-height volume demanded careful zoning, layered lighting, and soft-finish absorption points. As a design-only commission, we had to pre-empt site risks through exhaustive drawings, specifications, and coordination notes to safeguard the concept during execution.
We established a master materials matrix: primary/secondary stones, finish levels (honed/polished/brushed), and defined transitions to keep the language cohesive. The double-height space was anchored by a green-marble feature and framed with dark-wood elements, while furniture groupings, rugs, and acoustic panels tuned reverberation and comfort. To ensure build certainty, we issued comprehensive IFC-level documentation—detailed shop-drawing guidelines, lighting schedules, and joinery packages—so contractors can deliver precisely what was designed.
